Bandicoot Pottery

Pottery is a positive experience filled with imagination and creative education.  Our love for pottery started when we trained in Ceramics at the ANU Canberra School of Art.  Our wares are hand crafted and individually designed specialising in functional decorative works and one-off wood fired pieces.

We would love you to visit our pottery studio – check out our creative space, discover our little patch of Bega Valley paradise, browse for treasures to buy and fall in love with our pottery.  There’s sure to be a few surprises for anyone interested in meeting creative makers in their creative space.

Pottery is the perfect hobby for both children and adults.  Pottery is an experience that requires intense focus but allows your frustrations and worries to melt away.  Whether you’re a beginner looking to try pottery for the first time, or you have experience and want to further develop your skills, we have a class for you.  We cover a range of ceramic skills and process with plenty of time to get into the clay – hand building, slab construction, mould work, pinch pots, coil building and wheel work.

Pottery classes are offered February – June and September – December.

Kids Clay Club runs in January, April and September school holidays.

Visitors are welcome by appointment to experience pottery in action, be able to pick up a bargain or two and enjoy a learning experience.  Pottery is handcrafted and individually designed specialising in functional decorative one-off wood-fired pieces.
